The additional fee is as follows:
- Bantam A: $300
Player Development
Athletes will receive 135+ hours of on-ice training over the course of the season. This includes League games in District 3, exhibition games, 4 tournaments, team practices, skills sessions, and Friday morning Donut Hockey — open to all Bantam players before school. An end of season tournament in District 3 closes out the season. Teams participating at A will have an opportunity to play in Regions and possibly State.
The SLPHA Bantam Program builds off our Peewee Program. An increased emphasis of compete level and pace of play will be placed on players. Practices will be age appropriate with a concentration on skill development in the following buckets:
- 50% Skills: hockey skills & habits
- 35% Sense: concepts & awareness
- 15% Systems: team play and the addition of more team concepts and tactics
Skills Coaches: Fortis Academy, SLP Skills staff, Michelle Hedges (skating), and Attitude Goaltending will be involved throughout the season — every athlete gets access to the same coaching, not just the top team.
Season: Preseason skates start September 1st. Get a jump on the season with our Preseason Development Camp — the same skills staff every SLP team gets, starting from day one.
