SLP Preseason Development Camp is where the work begins. 4+ weeks of structured ice before tryouts — dedicated skating every week, themed development sessions by level, goalie programming with Attitude Goaltending, and positional skill work for Peewee and Bantam.
This isn't a tune-up. It's a head start.

Attitude Goaltending
Boys & Girls · All Levels
Goalies don't just participate in camp — they have their own dedicated ice. Sessions are run by Attitude Goaltending in a station-based format designed to challenge goalies across all levels simultaneously. SLP and Hopkins-Park high school goalies are invited to join.

USA Hockey registration required before registering for Preseason Development Camp.
Register with USA Hockey →Register for the level your player will try out for this fall. If your player has a summer birthday and may be eligible for a higher level, contact your level coordinator before registering.
All sessions begin September 1, 2026. Preseason end dates vary by level:
- Squirt & Girls 10U: through MEA
- Peewee & Bantam: through October 3
- Girls 12U & 15U: through October 5
- Bantam: October 5
- Goalie Only (Peewee, Bantam, 12U & 15U): October 5
- Peewee: October 6
- 12U & 15U: October 7
Full hockey equipment is required for all sessions. Goalies should bring full goalie gear.
We've intentionally kept the cost of this camp low, knowing many of our players compete in fall sports and are managing more than one commitment this time of year. Sessions aren't make-up eligible, but we understand conflicts come up — attend what you can, and the development still carries forward week to week.
Boys sessions are open to SLP travel players. Girls sessions are open to all Hopkins-Park Nordics eligible players.
Once registered and added to your level's preseason group, your sessions will be viewable in the Crossbar app calendar.
