Player Equipment Rental
New for 2026! Rental gear can be obtained from Hanus Sports for $150 deposit. Strongly recommended to leverage this program as a single season rental is free (deposit returned when gear is returned), or you can keep the gear for no additional cost.

Program Details
New mites and HP 6U/8U players in St. Louis Park are eligible to rent gear from the SLPHA
- All rentals are annual, roughly September through March. Gear must be returned following the season or a replacement charge will be incurred.
- Rentals start with Rookie Camp, and continue on a first-come, first-served basis. Later rentals can not be guaranteed.
- Players must be registered for SLP hockey, or be an SLP-based player in Hopkins Park. Hopkins-based players in HP will need to work with the HYHA.
- Registrations made in error will be refunded, but some processing fees may not be returned.

What to expect
Gear Pickup
Sessions will be scheduled in advance of the season
- You must attend one of these sessions to obtain gear
- Players need to be present for gear fitting
- Players should wear lightweight clothing to the fitting
2025 Pickup Sessions:

2026 Pickup Sessions:
- To be scheduled coinciding with Rookie Camp
Gear return
Return windows will be available after the season ends
- Remove any personal items from the gear bag
- Any gear not returned is subject to replacement fees
Rookie Camp
- If you are not continuing to play hockey during the regular season, please email equipment@slphockey.com to coordinate a return date & time. Gear can also be returned in one of the defined fall pickup windows.
