Mite Free Gear Program
Lettermen Sports and SLP Hockey have partnered to provide each “new to USA Hockey” Mite/U8 player with a free set of hockey gear from the CCM Next product line.
Program Details
Eligibility:
Open to all players who meet the following criteria:
- Player is in their first year of organized hockey
- Player is part of either St. Louis Park Hockey Association or is SLP-based in the Hopkins Park program
- Player is registered for the regular season in any of the Termite, Mite, 6U, or 8U programs.
Process:
Eligible registrants will receive a voucher to bring to Lettermen Sports in either their Plymouth or Blaine location. A sales representative at the store will assist with gear fitting.
Cost: $0
Gear Details
Available gear includes:
- Helmet with a facemask
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Hockey gloves
- Breezers (hockey pants)
- Shin pads
- Skates
If you already have some gear and don't need the full set - that's ok. Lettermen will only bill the SLPHA for any gear you receive; Any savings will be passed along to future players in the association.
NOT included:
- Mouth guard
- neck guard
- athletic supporter
- hockey stick
Items not included are personal preference for each skater, with many options available for each. Generally, the cheaper options are best for young players given how fast they grow. Purchase from Lettermen or your retailer of choice.
